Nancy and Gladys, thank you!
Here is F-8 Church Window. I still find it so difficult to line up the sections of paper piecing with so many layers of fabric and the paper coming together in one seam. It's hard to keep the seam a straight line, the sections keep tryiing to go 'wonky' on me.

Gus and Sheri, your blocks are beautiful!

Oh CindyA I love yours. I really like the colors you picked. And I decided not to worry about wonky. I bet Jane's has more than one flaw! (can I say that?)

Yep, Sheri you can say that and we recognize that Jane is still our inspiration!!
I actually love to paper piece and really enjoy it when I dont overdo. Whenever possible, I do try to avoid it because you can end up with a mess.... I think your block looks awesome Cindy - you are your own worst critic I am of my work as well - but the block looks great!! I have it looming before me - maybe today??? got some new shows to watch, but who knows...
I think I may PP the outer border of that block, but think I will use that bikini method of flying geese and just measure the inner square carefully. [that is where you take the width + 1 1/4" square of background and 4 - height+ 7/8" squares for the star points]

Lovely blocks! I'm still behind and only made 1 block this week. I hope to be able to do more though!

Gus – I love that fabric in E11, it is a perfect fit. Thanks for the notes on F9, I’m going to refer to them when I get to that block – that block looks fabulous! All of your blocks look great.
Sheri R – I’m behind too. Now that I’m back into it, I guess that I forgot that each block is quite time consuming! Your blocks and fabrics are great.
Cindy – I think your F8 looks great! Love the fabrics.
Anael – great block and appliqué. I love that fabric.
I just can’t help saying something about everyone’s fabrics!! I love seeing so many lovely fabrics. It must be why scrap quilts are my favorites!
