Hi Everyone
Toverly you block is lovely, the colours are very refreshing, I hae finished all block now and have to fine some where to lay them out to get a good mix of colours before sewing it together. I didn't mind doing this one but so many small pieces.
Here is my Oklahoma

Good Morning Everyone! I am slow moving this morning, some Mondays are like that. I finally decided to just use muslin as a back fabric. Congrats Lyn Hut on completing your blocks! They lay out surprisingly well. I did mine in quarters. This quilt is HUGE! Here is my Oregon. At least I think that is what is next.

Hi everyone
Toverly I like your colour combination in this star, I am going to back home this weekend, I have been house sitting a friends house for 3 weeks (thought I would get a lot of sewing done welll didn't work our that way) only got about 1/2 of what I took with me to do. So I will be able to set the quilt out on my bed and sew the rows together anad cut the extra edge piecesI need to complete it (well thats the plan, not sure if it will work.)

Toverly & Lyn, great blocks--again. I've loved all the blocks you've done. I have mine all done, too, now to figure out what to do with them. I love making blocks, hate making quilts. I need to find a quilting buddy that doesn't like to make blocks and we can work together on projects LOL. I'm late posting, MrJanRn is out of town and has the camera with him. Will post tomorrow.

Some more great blocks the last couple of weeks. I haven't done any sewing since I got back from my weekend away, but I do have Oregon almost done.
I don't expect to work on my stars again until my 5 day retreat in October. If I can get 8 blocks done in less than 2 days of just sewing, I should be able to get my blocks almost finished at the retreat! I plan to get everything cut ahead of time.

Carrie, another lovely block. Oh, dear, I do need to get started again on these. Lovely blocks all; an encouragement to get me started again. If I can just close out the canning kitchen so I can get back to my QR. It did frost here last night, not predicted we guess, so have to pick green tomatoes, clip vines of Sweet Potatoes and pick apples, and more apples and pears from orchard. Have supplies to continue jelly-jam making. Doing laundry and kitchen work on the side.
