Everyone's stars are so beautiful. This is fun. I'm getting a late start had to get printer ink. My son in law will have to teach me how to post pictures as I have no idea. It is beyond my computer knowledge

I am still sitting on the fence on this one...I LOVE Carols books and I have this one, but feel guilty about all the UFOS that need to be finished....so for now I will just stop in and watch the parade of BEAUTIFUL stars go by

Please no one get discouraged when you see the "next week's" block posted a little early! The goal for Alaska is to have it done by Monday, January 13th...even if you don't have it done by then, we are still happy to see it when you *do* get to it!
Thanks for the reminder carriem, I had forgotten about the Monday post date. I love the colors everyone is choosing.

I am going to be so far behind. But catch up is ok, lol. Going to Australia to be with the grandkids for three weeks and so I won't be starting this until Feb. The plus side is that I am drooling over everyone's stars and you all have given me lots of ideas for my stars. (Actually almost too many ideas can confuse a person) I am excited to start so I hope my excitement stays and doesn't wane away. I loved the CD showing me how to do this. It was very informative. I am going to do the 12 inch blocks. Will be looking and lurking from down under.

Wow, you can that again! I'm beginning to think I bit off more than I can chew. Alaska is taking me forever and I think I need one of those hammers.....

Quilt blocks are supposed to be humble, not perfect. And pleasing to your own eyes. I love whatever each shares that is uniquely 'them'.

That is encouraging. I finished California today. I am the kind of person that has to do things as the mood hits me. I may be babysitting my future Grandchild. She is due in early May. So if I get ahead on these while the mood is here I think it's all the better for me. But I really do like that each one is totally different and a mini challenge. I am doing size 8" blocks so some of the tiny pieces such as in the California block sure were a "challenge" being so small.
