I think I'm up to about block 20 now, but I'm home caring for my mother. My time is all broken up but it still results in more stitching time than many of you, I'm not racing!
Glad to know I'm not the only one adding to the patterns. I'm getting ready to do Colorado and decided it was too plain compared to the others, so I added extra lines. I am truly LOVING these stars!!

I am a "lurker". I had watched the Stars group last year and was fascinated so decided to check this one out. So many beautiful blocks to look at and such variety. After looking at Plumtree's, I decided that I needed that green batik to go along with one I am working on. It would be perfect. Keep up the work and maybe someday I will work up the nerve to try and follow one of these groups..... Thanks for the pictures. I sure enjoy them.

I finished number #9 today. I skipped over Hawaii but will come back to it. I find that one challenging more than the other's I've done so far!

Here's my Arkansas Star. I must really be slow. Many of you are way ahead.

MaggieLou--like your block. Don't feel like you are really slow! I only have one block made so far. Alaska is all cut out but it will be awhile until I can sew again...we all work at our own pace. Just have fun with it!!

See MaggieLou, you are not so far behind, I just finished Alaska! I love what you did with your Arkansas block.

Dang these take a long time to construct! I think I rip out more than I sew!

I am working on a block every two days because in a few months, God willing, I will be busy babysitting my new granddaughter who is due in early May. I am sure I won't have the time to do them then.

Wonderful news nygal, about the new grandchild.

Love the blocks posted. Here is my Arizona, finally:Following Red, White and Blue colors. Sheriff in San Jose has really changed the 'jail' in the county, and made it pay for itself; took over the animal shelter, and it is now paying for itself with inmates taking care of the animals. Feds were too slow to bus the illegal aliens back over the border, so he bought school buses and buses them back himself. Wish more lawmakers followed his major ways of doing things...can you imagine Congress living on our Social Security and insurance and retirement system?

good for San Jose! problem is the inmates and aliens will probably sue in court and win...
It is a no win world.
