The angles confused me until I started to really work with them...ran off extra copies and cut them up, pasted them on cardboard, so I could make templates with seam allowance...and used my fabric scraps the way I wanted too. There is a difference between the star wedge points, which I left that way on purpose...a touch of unique me, myself and I in the block. Thank you for the kind comments.

We all look forward to seeing your blocks in the weeks to come...aim for these weeks and please don't post blocks too early or it can throw off others in knowing where they *should* be. You are more than welcome to post blocks any time after the goal week... Example: if you don't get Arizona done this weekend you can post next week or next month, whenever it is finished. Hope that makes sense! Everyone is doing a great job and I look forward to seeing new blocks each day. Maybe I will be able to start sewing again next week and get caught up.

    Week of:
    Jan 26th--Arkansas
    Feb 2nd--California
    Feb 9th--Colorado
    Feb 16th--Connecticut
    Feb 23rd--Delaware

I like everyone's Arkansas blocks!! Mine are showing up so small because I am using my cell to take the pictures. I tried using a larger size but it was HUGE. But the blocks themselves are 8" size.

I also appreciate having which block should be shown. That way we all can keep it straight which block is next to be posted.

I am still a "lurker" who would really like to take on this challenge, but have too many irons in the fire to attempt it right now. Is there a calender listing of all the blocks/weeks? So if I can jump in say in a month or two I would know where I need to start/end? If I dont make it this year, I will just continue to ooooooohhhh and ahhhhhhhhhh over all of your lovely efforts!
