Wow! Love the way you used the brown fabric in this star.....it really pops out the middle of the block and the multi-colored fabric is fabulous!!

I'm seeing such beautiful stars and wonder to myself.....why can't i do ONE a week? I think I have 11 done. I'll get my 50 Star box out and see. AND start?

hi sorry it took me a few days to dig it out. its Robert Kauffman Effervesence. I think it may be an older line, i have seen a purse in it and a camera strap that friends have owned for a while.

Ok Back from vacation, jet lag is gone and I feel sort of normal. I can finally start my very first paper piecing. HELP!!!!! I am so nervous. I spent 2 1/2 hours yesterday and three tries before I got 1/4 of the alabama star done. I love it. Today I hope to finish the entire star and then show it off. Maybe if I get real good and confident I will be able to start Alaska. I love everyones so far.
