Did anyone else get the McCall's Quilting catalog promo with the star pattern in it? I am considering doing this for my layout. It's call Heritage Stars by Sherri Bain Driver and is labeled Free Pattern #1. If I take off the 20 6-inch stars on the sides that would make 48 stars. It's doable.

Here's my Hawaii. I'm a little late this week. The colors aren't quite as bright as in the picture. The white is actually a very light grey print.

Mirabelle - that center just pops with that black you used. It is great!

Idaho already? I was so late on Hawaii, it seems like I need another week. Thank goodness, I am working ahead. Thank you qltgrose for the complement, I am sticking with brights so sometimes they work sometimes they don't. Here's Idaho.

Beautiful blocks, lots of 'eye' candy this morning. Alas, I am still at the starting gate for this month, have Florida laid out on my sewing table...maybe I can catch up soon. Sidelined with company and doing an "I SPY" for her 2 yr old DGS. Thank you everyone for sharing your wonderful blocks.

WOW - the colors are amazing. I am a little disappointed in my choice of rust as it does not pop!

Any ways - here's my Idaho block.

Awesome blocks ladies. I love coming here and checking them out. What a great show of colors--I couldn't pick a favorite. I promise to get caught up on pics by next week--blocks are done, camera is where???

I was way ahead of making the blocks but since my sweet 87 yr. old Mother now lives with us I've been BUSY with her. I hope to get busy on them again before I begin watching my new Granddaughter who is to be born in early May!!
