I agree with you. I have learned so much with this project. And I'm going to try and quilt this myself.

Thanks Kathryn and all.

I learned to move extra pieces of fabric to the scrap bag immediately. I have two pieces with the same fabric and one square fabric missing from the block and then two of the blocks had the wrong fabric on them and had to be taken apart and resewn. It was interesting trying to figure out how much I had to frog before I could insert the right piece.
