    annt59: Very pretty blocks!

I finished my blocks and have chosen my sashing. I decided not to do a scrappy sashing but will have 2 different black/gold fabrics for it instead.

RJ love your finished quilt, love the colours and the scrappy.

Annt59 your red and green looks very Christmassy, love it and the blue and red is very striking as well.

RJ is really like your scrappy quilt & all the colors than you put in it. I’m a little surprised because usually I’m picky about having coordinated fabrics but this particular pattern is really leaning itself to all different kinds of looks.
aunt59 I like ALL your color combos, including the total blue one. The red & green together should make a fun lap quilt to throw over the sofa every year at Christmastime. Or the red, blue, & white a great one for Fourth of July for a summer picnic. You have so many options.

I finally found a border fabric for mine but I’m going to wait to put it together before I put a picture up. I hope it looks as good as I hope it will.

Well I finished my flimsie & here it is. Unfortunately I liked it better before without the lighter border. I really, really didn’t like it until after I put the second dark purple border on it. If I had to do it all over again I’d add another row & another column too to expand the quilt in size, add a different second border of a darker combo of cool colors or just a deep teal & then add the second purple border again. I just couldn’t find the right fabric for it. I do love the way the quilt center came out. Judy’s Mystery train was a real success. It’s given me the incentive to try another mystery quilt called Good Furtune coming up that’s starting Black Friday by Bonnie Hunter at Quiltville.com, if I can find the color & yardage of fabrics she says is needed for it. There’s a link under the “Main” section here on the board if any of you are interested. Bonnie Hunter's 2018-19 Mystery Quilt "Good Fortune"

    Here’s mine before the borders:

    With the borders:
