    well i'm happy my Massechusetts came together nicely- and i listened to the Tiger's game while making it & we won the game too! double bonus

    Love your block but I must tell you that the Tigers are not allowed to win. We (SOXs) just went ahead of them. Luckily it looks like we are going to win also.

    I need to get myself in gear. I thought I was 4 behind , I am 7 behind. I am still working on Iowa. It should be finished today. Great stars everyone.

    Klgreene, It was a while ago, wasn't it. Mamas & Papas were among my favorite too. Love your block. Those soft colors are beautiful.

    CK, Yours looks like the earth with a star in front of it and the starry night behind.

    PokerDiva, It's hard to believe that we've come that far. There was one point at which I thought the stars stretched forever, but now here we are and still rolling.

    Well I know these aren't this weeks block butI finally finished Iowa and Kansas. I joined the virtual quilt along today and got a lot accomplished. I hope to catch up this week or next. I have the baby quilt completely ready to FMQ. I will do that tomorrow night. It need to be finished by Sunday. Great blocks everyone.

    meanmom- I LOVE both of your blocks! I think Kansas is my favorite- i could see a whole quilt out of that one! but i like the Iowa too-
    great job! and don't worry about 'catching up' you will- and we don't mind a bit being able to -look back- & see other versions of ones we did- it is great fun- and so INSPIRING! boy, i Love that Kansas block---i may have to go back & look at that one again

    I agree that meanmom's Kansas block is the one. Both are beautiful though.

    Great looking blocks ladies! I like Massachusetts - that will be fun when I finally get around to it! Don't worry Meanmom, I am still on block #7 - not even out of the C States yet. I am as slow as they get when it comes to sewing - I just keep telling myself one of these days I will have all the time I want to sew!
