monalisa, what star is that? i don't recognize it- but i want to go make it...i stood staring at the ones i have done & didn't find that one- but sometimes just changing fabrics make them look so different- i really love yours, i just can't figure out which one it is

I love all the blocks this week. MonaLisa, that center of your oregon star is so striking. PokerDiva and Nicky, I really like how you did two colors on this one. Wvhill and Klgreene, very pretty. And Ckcowl, your b&w is Wow. Hopefully I can post mine tomorrow.

Love this OHIO block. You ladies have all done a great job with it. Especially like Poker Diva's color choices. I'm really enjoying following the progress you are all making, especially since I have had the book "forever" and now I think you've all got me interested.

Ta da. It's been a couple of weeks but I skipped a few and completed Ohio on schedule. I tried to do some fussy cutting that sort of worked. I didn't have enough fabric left to do it very precisely.

I am making some batik furniture covers and realized I will have tons of fabric left over. So, with that, and the scraps from my Back on the Farm applique, I see a paper pieced batik quilt in my future!!! Can't wait.
