Thanks. I am working ahead a little since I want to start my New York beauty. I always get anxious for the next project when I am near the end of a project. I am almost finished with West Virginia and hope to finish Wisconsin tonight. I need to clean my living room so I can lay all the stars out and figure out how I like them.

I am procrastinating because I need to rip. I was trying to add up how many pieces are in all of the blocks. I keep getting different totals. There are about 3700 pieces in this quit. WOW!

I agree with you Meanmom. I would use a single background color too.

Meanmom, thanks for the New York Beauty info. I think I will join that after we are done with the stars. Also, thanks for adding up the total pieces in the quilt. It sounds like something I would have done so I'm glad I didn't think of it and that you did. I imagine there's a little OCD in all of us quilters.

Here is my Utah. Yeah almost finished. I really like yours Pokerdiva. I have been working ahead because I want to start assembly before I start another project. I only have the B half of Wyoming to finish. Woo Hoo! I would have finish Friday night but I had to finish mine and my DH Halloween costumes. Hopefully today. I also need to clean up the living room so I have enough space to arrange the blocks and figure out my sashing width etc. Can't wait to finish.

Patrice, I like the way you put the fabric in the star.

Nice Utahs everyone. And I like your latest "mixed star" Florence. I think Utah is my favorite for the design of the four blocks together. Only six more, but I still have five that I missed this summer. Here's another Utah.

And here are the Beach Boys in Salt Lake City.
