Stunning Meanmom. I am so far behind. We not really, I'm making three lap size and I only need 4 more blocks to do the last one, but haven't gotten the others together yet either. I haven't given up, just slowing down.

Blocks are just stunning, I am so envious of the quilts that are emerging. But, I am happy with my little lap quilt.

Wanted to post this picture of Texas made by PokerDiva when we were swapping in the BOM last year. Isn't it beautiful? Gorgeous job, as usual, Florence. I used it in a queen-sized scrappy star quilt I made for my daughter's birthday last year.

Thank you Judy, I am so glad you liked it. Turned out better than the ones I made for my quilt.

I hate DST. I kept waking up all night looking at the clock and trying to figure out what time my body thought it was. BLAH. But I do like this star. With only 5 to go here is my #45 Vermont:

Oh Poker I do like your Vermont. Your focus fabric really looks good in it. Vermont is the block I didn't put in my quilt. I am making 4 for a wall hanging. The number 5 and 8 lines make a really nice design when 4 are put together. I chose my fabrics last night. I will keep the number 5 and 8 pieces the same in all of the blocks. I still need a back for mine. I don't want it just plain. I found a 3 yard piece in my stash that I like. I will add some other fabrics to it to make the back. I can't wait to see everyones quilt.

PokerDiva, you are up early, early! And love your Vermont. Hope I can finish mine today or tomorrow.
MonaLisa, I particularly like your Virginia. Love that black floral.

I would like to start doing paper piece quilting and I think this would be a great book. I am new to quilting and for some reason this looks very exciting.
