Yeah, it was a lot of work. I fussy cut about 300 hexies. Funny, though, it was therapeutic for me. I could trace and hand cut them while watching TV.

    Default Another border

Yesterday I decided my Jewels with a twist of Lime should have a piano key border. I wanted it to be big enough to use as a summer throw on our queen size bed and also wanted to use up some leftovers. It now measures 78x92. Sorry for the poor pic, it was the best I could do with my phone at night!

Pam, I love your I-Spy quilt! Absolutely wonderful!

I have my top finished but I have yet to quilt it. I had lunch with a friend the other day and showed her a picture of the quilt. She said that she was looking for a birthday gift for a friend's 65th birthday and thought that would be perfect. She offered me $50.00 for it. I was going to keep it for myself but of course I took her up on her offer! I will post a picture once I have it finished.

Pam: That is a great ISpy. The blue really highlights all the fussy cut hexies.

So how is everyone quilting theirs? I was thinking of tying mine but my sister said not to. Not sure why she cares, she's not getting it. She seems very opinionated lately.lol Just can't decide what to do for quilting.
