I got a LA in August, and haven't actually done a quilt using a panto yet, so Im going to try that out. I found a free pattern on line that I like. I think I will use a (muted) variegated thread. I suspect by about mid quilt, I will be very bored, but at least it should go quickly!

Got something else on my frame that I'm using to practice feathers on, so once it's done ... or once I decide I've had ENOUGH of that, I'll work on the scrappy.

dd, I hand quilt mine just because I enjoy doing hand work. Unfortunately I have a pile waiting to get finished now. This cold snap in FL is helping me sit still & quilt.

Just love some of the finished tops, such clever ideas on those last borders. Now I wish I had seen them & I might have done my last border a little different. They are great for ideas for other quilts.
Cataract surgery went well, only 2 days post op. Able to see a bit better, don't have to wear glasses all the time. Next eye on March 3rd. Going to jump on the train for the next ride tomorrow. May be a little slow moving along at first but will get it done. Cold weather, think i'll cook up a large pot of soup to bring along.

Finally got the border on mine--getting the angles on the stars right really busted my chops! I'm sandwiching and glue basting it today--picture when done.

Looking forward to tomorrow's new beginning!
