Looking great, folks. Mine are brown with bits of dark greens, blues, and reds and various golds as the secondary color. They are still chain stitched together so they don't get lost.....

How about a little chicken salad to cleanse the palate?

My sewing room is a complete mess and needs to be cleaned-straightened up before I can do anything else. I was going to just follow along until I had time to make this mystery, but guess what?

Featherweight, folding table, living room. I will do my best to get caught up with this tomorrow afternoon (get off work at 1 PM on Fridays). I can clean next week/month/year.

Bluebonnet, You have some beautiful fabrics. Very colorful. You don't have to be a kid to play I Spy.
Moonrise, What a great idea with your green colors. That's going to be interesting to watch and see how it works. Love your extra scrappy scraps. If I did that I would have tried to get everything straight and true, but it's so much more interesting with the crazy angles. I've got to try that and get out of the box.

I like all the different versions of squares I'm seeing. I went darker and duller than most of you. But I can always change them out later if necessary. I have lots of scraps to choose from.

Finally finished all my string blocks. It was quite a bit of work but so satisfying to make these blocks out of 'left-overs'

So I've got a day to rest up before clue two hits the board

I thought it would be a great quilt for little kids/grandkids to use when they come over. Yes, definitely bright, happy and I spy-ish. Only two more days and we can go after it again 😄 What fun!

Quilt first, clean later. I always say 😉
