I cannot work on mine till Monday as well as Jolo's blue and green blocks. So, I will pm Dotty next week. Big thank you to Dotty for doing this!

No, thank goodness. That is the real rainforest!! We're a couple of hours east of there, in Sequim, and are actually in a bit of a rain shadow. We do love to visit the area though. I can't complain about the fog though to a person living in NH.

Grammahunt - posting #756 for the final clues

Wow, overwhelming response already for another scrappy! Love that you all want to use us those scraps instead of letting them sit and multiply! Ok, so, how's this ... Clue 1 for another scrappy, it will be mystery #9, and will post on February 21. So while you guys are digging around for strips and star fabric, I'm off to start drafting a pattern and digging into my scraps. Thank you so much for your support.

I've been looking all morning. Don't know how I missed that one! Thank you, Judy, my quilting soul has been fed. (a long, contented sigh is heard in the background).

It's a yes to another scrappy from me too, I thoroughly enjoy these mysteries .

I do have 2 minor problems tho, lol.

First one being the three mystery tops already waiting to be sandwiched and finished off (7th ride, BHMQ and 8th ride). I swore I wasn't going to start piecing another top until these were completed!

Secondly, my bobbin holder has started rattling horrendously, so a trip to the shop is in order. The machine still stitches ok but sounds like the train we're on has blown its exhaust .

Please also count me in for a block for Jolo . Has the block size been confirmed yet?

oh I love the outcome of this one! I think I'll finish the outer star & maybe something else. Don't know what it'll be yet, but I've got my thinking cap on!
Yes! Scrappy #9! Got it on my calendar for 2/21! I think this year is turning into a scrappy one for me since that's all I've made so far this year. Off to dig in the 2 1/2" bin!

Wow, Judy! Love those stars and what a surprise! Now this one is going to take me a little while to do. That's OK.

I'm definitely in for Jolo's new quilt. Thanks Dotty for organizing this. This was such a huge loss and painful because I guess it was someone you know. Or....someone you know was telling someone else who wasn't quite so trustworthy.

Love the stars at the cornerstones!

Going to do my sashing consistent in order to tie everything of my Christmas fabrics together. I have the perfect lighter green with bits of red that I was planning to use anyway.

And I have already fussy cut little trees on white for the cornerstones. Not sure how I'm going to do the stars - same tree fabric or just plain.

May add border(s) - or not. We shall see. Lol!

And definitely want to do blocks for Jolo. Lost my sentimental keepsake quilts several years ago in a fire. So I know how much you miss stuff that's gone. Nothing replaces the old but the outpouring of love from those who care is so memorable.
