Another scrappy would be fine but I have a long way to go on this one.

Finish the stars on the border? Great idea. I'll use one dark green & frame.

    Dotty, it is gorgeous!

And no, June Billie, you don't have to use yellow for your stars. Your quilt your choice. As I always say, no quilt police here.

Looks like it is an overwhelming vote for another scrappy! Guess I better get to work.

Judy: Your designs never but never disappoint! You've done it again. Love this quilt. In a bit of a quandary about my choice of sashing and star color but I can hardly wait to get started and to see the first two blocks.
Re another scrappy: Yes! Lead on fearless leader!
DD: Love your choice of friendship blocks.

Another scrappy. As many others said, I'm in the same boat with those who are trying NOT to buy fabric this year- so far it's not working- lol. Judy, your mysteries are just what I need to chip away at my stash. Thank you.
Dottie, I'll also get started on blocks for Jolo- just my colors so I have plenty in those color ways.

I did buy one piece of fabric this year, at "road" at the 'quilt-in-a-day' booth there was a pretty two tone gray feathery print (Jenny Beyer) and I had a 50% off coupon.....and it is the only piece of gray fabric I have ever liked/purchased. Am I going modern????? possibly?????

that is $4.50 a yard and placed in a really nice vinyl project bag with a zipper, and gently handed to you with a smile and a thank you.............it was enough to make a person think about relocating to San Marcos, California.

I have the same problem Lynnie, about fabric, and I'm always glad to hear all the comments and that I'm not weird at all. I'm really trying to let go of things though, and the living in the present idea can also apply to fabric. Enjoy it while you can and use it while you still like it. It's easy when you start looking at all the new stuff that is designed all the time and new favorites come out. I just can't believe all the new lines and how beautiful they are.

Dotty, I like those sashings of the same (ish) color. Hmmmm May have to borrow that idea. Yellow stars are perfect for your quilt. I didn't notice before what cute fabric you are using.

I think I may be a while on this step. Too much going on. Whether it's real or just in my brain I'm not sure. If you know what I mean.
