Step 4 is a power step with all the stars. Love the scrappy quilts Judy.
This past week end I completed Mystery ride #6 at a retreat.
I set out to complete UF'S but I think I made more instead.......
I did complete a Christmas top and a pieced backing for a single be.
Am ready for Feb 21st....

I also have a "nice size" grocery bag full of 21/2" squares plus. That's a paper bag that was used before plastic. I would be very happy to use these up!

I really like your quilt. I haven't finished with step 2 yet. I have so little time to actually sit down and sew!

I love all the different versions of the top! and the border with the complete stars is fabulous but the simples cornestones look beautiful too.

I finished mine too. I'm learning a lot. First time with friendship stars. Judy, this 4 clue has been great to hone my skills but I must say that the matching it is not my best
but improving!!! I'm now thinking how finish it and waiting the next scrappy train ride!

Oops - just saw that frustrated posted how to do this. Didn't mean to step on any toes.
I hope you are wearing good shoes, cos here's some more toe-stepping

I'm making my final star-border wider than 2.5 inches, so that I

1) don't have to put on a further border, and
2) don't risk chopping the star points with my binding cos I didn't put on a further border!

Laziness wins out again lol.

Doing it this way means I have a spare inch of border past the star points to attach my binding to

yes, it was mystery # 4 and the stars in the sashing formed sawtooth stars. Good memory! I incorporated the missing 4th flying geese in the borders.

Siodach, no toe stepping as far as I am concerned! And I think your solution is brilliant! Absolutely brilliant.
I love the sharing and help all of you train rders give when one of the passengers is stuck on some part of the puzzel.

Guess what I started this morning? Sample for scrappy #9 mystery. I think it will be a hit, but I think this one may be hard to beat. It is my favorite of the scrappies I have done.

Off to the gym, gotta keep my energy level up to stay ahead of you guys!
