that quilt is sparkly! very pretty.
Zoey is indulged for sure. she eats off of a silver platter. for real.
I love qayg. I've made over 300 quilts that way. fast and quick and really nice.
will try to get the triangles done, if someone lets me.

being a real bum about it. everytime se hears the rotary cutter being opened, she comes running
and sits on top of what I do. then the argument ensues. I hate arguing wit a cat!

I know what you mean Lynnie! I was trying to lay out something last night, and here came Mr. running into my sewing room and jumping up on my cutting table. Took him off to a pillow filled with scraps that I made just for him, and he instantly hopped off and back onto the cutting table. Grrrr.
Just got back Sunday from visit grandkids, and no scraps with me either. So I'll now have to print off all the Clues and make it later. I'm looking forward to the next train ride - scraps I have plenty of!

Lynne,
Cats are wonderful and they are always looking for quilty spots.
Ten years ago I was placing blocks on the back of a flannel tablecloth which was on the floor. You guess it, our golden retriever needed to lay on those blocks. Would get him off and he was right back on the blocks. The quilt was completed but I decided not to keep it for it didn't look that great. Four months later, our 15 1/2 year old golden passed away. I still have that quilt and will never give it away. He loved being beside me while I sewed. I still miss him.
Can't wait to see your quilt.

Love it, PeginCO!
I have to keep my sewing room door closed all the time, otherwise my five cats would be occupying every inch of my table space. They all (especially my bottle-fed kitten) feel they HAVE to be wherever I am, snoozing on whatever project I have going on. It's sweet, and I love their company, but it's impossible to get anything done with them "helping" me.
I'm working on my blue/cream/red MQ now. I decided to put the 12 blocks together with no sashing between them, and then put semi-wonky stars for an exterior border. Since most of my pieces are "made fabric" that's wonky, the semi-wonky stars seem to be the way to go. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
