    AnngelAnne ,
That is just terrible cold, be careful you don't get pneumonia breathing in that cold air.
We used to get those kind of temps, but with climate change not anymore, I sure don't miss them. It was tough to send my little girls to school back then we only lived 2 blocks from the school but still tooo cold.

mom 6 - your 4-patch REALLY needs to be 4-1/2". Are you saying your cut your constant dark at 2-1/2" strips and somehow are using 3" light squares? If so, two ways to fix -- just sew the 3" to the 2-1/2" strips, press and make a 4-patch matching the centers, not edges, and then put your 4-1/2" square on the block matching the center point of the ruler with the center poing of the block and trim. Or trim the 3" squares to 2-1/2". I think doing the first method would be more accurate.

My thoughts and prayers go out for all of you in this, another horrible cold snap.

Everybody stay warm and safe in this scary cold .... I live in a valley portion of California and it is a full half hour drive to mountains where it snows, so I worry about all this ice and freeze you are experiencing. Take care !

I have my squares finished! The fabric is a tone on tone navy and cream.
Thank you Judy for all you do!
Hope everyone stays warm and dry. We are forecast to have more ice and snow tonight. I wouldn't complain if the meteorologist was wrong this one time!

Judy I am smacking my head today. I went to check on those patches & only one was off. The rest are just fine. Now I wonder if I didn't recheck after the front side press or if the quilt fairies paid me a late night visit. Nope, I wasn't partaking of the chocolate wine either Anyway thanks for the info & help. I am happy you are taking a break because I really, really need to get my machine serviced & I hate missing out on any of the fun.

I got you beat, Lynnie, It was 10 below this morning and we are going to have snow tonight. I can never remember a winter like we are having.
Hope you are feeling better. You can't be sick, you need to quilt.
