She bites here nails to trim them. Another way they take care of them besides digging her claws and scratching the furniture.

Do any of you use this tool? Have had it in my drawer since the 90's (! It has 1992 and the name Betty Gall imprinted on it as well as quilter's rule and quick quilter 2) Haven't used it much over the years, but pulled it out for this project and I really ended up liking it. It has slots for marking the cutting line when placed on a square from corner to corner and then you draw a line on either side so that in one placement you mark your 3 Lines for sewing and cutting HSTs. There was no doub about where to sew and cut. Easier on my eyes ( that are getting wonky these days) than having to move and adjust a small ruler. Just an idea....

My friend had not started this mystery yet---and she came over with the cutest chicken fabric--so with some red and scrappy gold....she has this---CUTE---we are waiting to see what the last clue brings us......Loving all the different quilts on this train....

Oh they are so cute...I finally decided on the fabric for this step...it will be Holiday...
