dear 1953, I like your solid background for the squares and bettyB, your butterfly quilt is aptly named, they do look like butterflies in a garden...very happy quilt!

Another great quilt top, Judy! I love seeing everyone's progress.

I did clue #1 and then I got too busy to sort through scraps. Hopefully I can work on it this week or it will go into the UFO pile.

I'm exhausted after spending 2 nights in Duluth, MN, with my niece and her girls. I learned lots about dance competition. I went along to keep the almost 6 year old busy when she was through with her dance. They did a great job of dancing.

m-fay - nice looking table runners, I really like the middle one best.

Then I sorted and refolded and pressed...and near the bottom of the box, a fabric I almost had forgotten, jumped up and grabbed my shoulder and said "I am the sashings, all of them" I had to agree, don't you see, so the first #9 will be controlled scrappy. The second one will be full on scrappy because I will tiptoe up to the green box with a flashlight and find scraps without waking up the yardage.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who fabric talks to. We all know how fabric yells at us in the store but sometimes it gets real quiet at home. I like fabrics that know where they belong whether it's sashing or border. 😇

While ya'll have been finishing this mystery, I've been busy quilting this! Go to pictures (54-40 or fight show quilt) for full story.
