Beautiful quilts being shown here.....mine is on the back burner for now. We're remodeling our master bathroom right now, and that takes precidence since it's our main one, especially at night and early morning.

We always make room in the car for the important stuff. When we moved from Ga the only things I took in my car were my sewing machines and my dogs. The rest went in the moving van. Enjoy your time away, our daughter was married on Topsail Beach, it is a beautiful area. Have you ever been to Aunt Annie's bakery in Wilmington? It is amazing.

These are 6 of my blocks. There are 2 of each color. I ran out of the yellow and had to use a different yellow and the 1 purple has a different border too. Have other things to get done. Hoping to take them to quilt group Monday night and get some help laying them out in a pleasing order so it doesn't just look like a repeated quilt done in 2 halves.

Angelia: The size thing is exactly what happened to my #8. Even the #9 is 100 X 100. For me, I think its because Judy's designs use blocks that are bigger than I usually use so subconsciously I still think I need a larger number.
I have some left over blocks that I will use for the back and frame like you did Angelia, love that look.
So many beautiful quilts, so many great ideas.
Have you ever made a quilt top that seems to have a mind of its own? Got a late start on this one, so already had two of the clues before I started. Wanted to use some Fall fabric so started there with brown as my constant. Pretty straight forward, right? Wrong. Got the blocks assembled, and thought it was pretty blaugh, so added the orange sashing. Still not happy so took it to EQ7 to design borders. This is the final result. Doesn't look very scrappy although I tried. Am going to try again with the back.

Angelina your paisley is beautiful. ALL the quilts are beautiful. When I've used upmost of my scraps and I'm buying fabric again, I'd like to do this one shades of 1 colour and white. I think someone did a red one.

I finally got a little time to work on mine. I love this layout but I would have to make soooooo many more blocks to make it a usable size.
