Patty, I think that is a great idea! I started to do that with my Jane quilt...but it started to have nasty language in it! :oops:! I had to stop it! ;)
I'm improving on some parts. My points are now almost consistantly pointy. I'm still struggling with the innies, but my curves are smoother now than when I started too. I like to include my original efforts...I like the story they tell when the quilt is finished.

I agree with leaving the blocks alone -- the "original efforts" -- because they will tell the story of this quilt. ;)
