One week left of March. Wow. Spent yesterday mostly in bed. Decided to take advantage of the pain meds and rest up. If felt ohhhhh, so good! I even feel like maybe sewing or cutting something out today. I have started to wean myself off the strongest med which makes me pretty drowsy. I sorta feel normal today. Cool.

I am concerned about Molly's knee replacement surgery. I can't remember her board name. Does anyone know how she is doing? Knee replacements are a bit more difficult to recover from than hip surgery. I hope everything went well for her.

    :-D

Glad to see everyone making progress. I finished 1 block and almost finished a 2nd since my modem has been down. One of those stinkers (#15) took me about 10 hours...I'm really slow...

Ohhhh, it's good to see you back, Patti.

What's this about being slow? I'm STILL only halfway through my first block. I have made myself nice and nervous because I keep going back to the gallery to see what's ahead of me.

Awe Patti, donīt tell me their are stinkers along the way. I havenīt even started yet. I am wavering again on my backing. I am worse than you Ducky. Think I am going Black. The Lemon is too light. Will use it for the backing now. I got my book today via a friend so I am going to increase the size of the blocks tomorrow to 140%. Got everything ready to go. Must try out one on the black. I am still working on DJ and I donīt want to get too involved in AOTH yet. I saw a lovely fabric today at the LQS, black fabric with lots of butterflies on it, That really appealed to me.

Ducky, you are Elle will be the death of me - I haven't laughed so much for ages, and with a face ache infection, it HURTS!

Sorry you thought no. 15 was a stinker - but you must have hearts down pat now, having done 16 of them, so it was good practice. The next block that has some won't be so hard. I'm still wondering why you picked no. 15 anyway, are you just picking them at random or what?
