I need to get my book done like that. If we only HAD a Kinko's or some store like it around here. I don't think there is even one in either towns within 20 miles of me.

Crafty...just dive on it and start a block...its fun and warning......addicting!
Well we obviously don't have a Kinko's - I bet you have a small printer somewhere not far from you though - the kind that does leaflets, posters etc. and stuff for small businesses. - try one of those 'cos that's where I went.

Patti, I used an exacto-knife and a ruler. Then I put them into those plastic sheets that go into a 3 ring-binder.

I tried an exacto knife but found I couldn't press hard enough - took off the shiny front and back covers and put a new blade into my rotary cutter, along with a ruler - worked really great, and not as much effort required. (I have arm issues).
A suggestion you might want to try one of the educational facilities, they will charge you for your copies, but will probably help you out with the copying needs, doesn't hurt to ask.

I have had no trouble just coping from the book. I enlarged them without coping to size first. All 36 look great. I buy 1000 copies at a time at UPS store for $40. and I get lots of help from the employees. I am sure flat pages are great, but they are not necessary.

Hi Everyone, AT LAST I am back on line, the little job of changing over from one internet provider to another has taken 8 days but seemed like an eternity being away from you all. Just caught up with all of the chatter and interesting it was. I have the book The Bride one you were all talking about and it has some lovely patterns in it.

Its great we have so many people going to plunge in and do the AOTH, really lovely.

While my internet was down it did give me a chance to do some blocks i have now done 14 of them and I love them, hasten to add though not embroidered yet. Plan to take them on holiday to Turkey with me to do that, you know a quilter can´t ever really relax without her project......Right????

Welcome back, Elle. Glad to see you here again. You were sorely missed. I can't even imagine not being able to get online for 8 days. At least you made good use of your time. I saw your blocks on Lesley's thread. They are beautiful.
