I was trying to enlarge my patterns to 142%, but they don't want to fit on a standard 8 1/2 x 11 in. piece of copy paper. Anyone else have trouble. Did you have to take it to a copy store. Sorry to be so much of bother, but need help again. Thanks

Lesley, I don't think it's an O. I think it's probably a zero. That's a trick I use on my computer to make something go to the top of a listing. Not sure why this was allowed here, but I think that's probably what it is.

What happened when I printed it, it printed the full length and just over half of the width. I would trace the full half, turn it around and trace it again on the other side. So far it's worked fine for me.

On a much more pleasant note, I just purchased a 10x12'' light box from JoAnns, regular price was $43, my 40% coupon took $20 off...I am a happy camper.Oh, and the light box is "Made in the USA" I also purchased some gold metallic DMC thread for the embroidery..I am going to give the bobbin work a try and see what I can do with that. I have two blocks done minus the embroidery and then two are cut and ready to be turned under and stitched..it seems to me that if I decided to use bobbin work it will be easier on some blocks to do it before the applique, so I am going to check into that before I proceed.

Thanks all for starting this, I would never have had the courage to start something like that on my own..mainly because I am a finisher and don't like UFOs and this is a time consuming and hard project, but watching you all is very encouraging.
    yummers!

talk about seeing, LOl...I saw my eye doctor the other day after  a couple years...and talked about my hand sewing/quilting etc. and how my dd laughs at me for wearing two pairs of glasses.
Well...he told me that I don't need to be doing that.
The problem is: I don't keep my glasses fitting right so everytime I look down, they slide and I am looking through the wrong part of the lense! oh my...

Leave it to me, to act like I've HAD the wine and seeing things all wonky...bc of my own silliness!
He said come by anytime, walk in, free of charge and ask to have my glasses adjusted.
I'm going to write it on the calendar to start doing that...bc it MIGHT IMPROVE MY QUILTING - LOL!!!

Candi, that's how I'm doing mine also. Sometimes, you just have to use the needle and work those unruly points or curves into place.

I don't think it's an "O," but rather a "0" - zero. Numbers come before letters in computerized lists. Don't know why, but at least we're #2 so we don't have to scroll until we find us!
