telling a secret here  I am SO envious of Lisa's blocks
they REALLY are wonderful and I am completly in love with them!

working with just my two colors has been challenging. as individual blocks they are not working, but I think as a whole quilt it will come together in the end. (fingers crossed)

Kathy, it sounds like a "perfect" sewing spot! we are building... so I am trying to decide what I NEED the most, for me probably storage space

Candace, you will need to join the Lisa Fan Club! I'm a member...I'm anxious to see you lay out some of your blocks together when you get a little further. It will be fun to see!

I joined QB today so I could see the different ways you are making this quilt. I just finished a small 9 patch, set on point, with a black background and Bali flowers. I do needle turn applique and loved working on this quilt. It won a 1st place at our local quilt show here in Abilene.

Hi gals. Just got back from a week's sewing retreat in McCall, Idaho. What a great time we had. I spent a lot of time practicing my machine quilting. I still don't think I'll feel comfortable quilting my AOTH.

We attended a quilt show in Council Idaho. I'm attaching a picture of a water lily quilt designed by Aie that was at the show. It was beautifully done. I especially love the border. I thought you would like to see it.

All the leaves are two-part hearts and I love the way the look (and there are no innie points).
