I would really love to trapunto my aoth, but that's not going to happen.
    I can't even keep up.
That's ok,...I can practice down the road on something smaller and use this technique then.
I'm just happy to be doing this quilt with such a lovely bunch! ;-)

My problem is that I hate having to stop to prep the next few blocks! I wish I had someone who did that for me so I could just stitch them!!!

Patty, thank you, actually this quilt was painted and I hand quilted the whole thing. I raffled it off so my daughter could be ambassador to People to People and she went to Australia.
Painted!!!?? Really??!!  Have you posted a picture of it so we can see it up close and personal? It is so beautiful!

A few years ago I had a student who went to Australia with People to People! It was an amazing experience for him!

LOL...you are both sooo silly! You all have the same capabilities and more...just look inside! My DH would be very happy if I could be cloned! Hmmmmm....I think I would too, then I could play all the time and tell that "other" one to go do all the chores! LOL!

Thanks! I am taking notes as fast as I can. I wondered about the scalloped borders. I looked at some verigated thread at Michaels and thought about crochetting a scallop. This idea is way far in the future. Seems scalloped material might look cheesy.

i was thinking of making those three scalloped borders from some bright verigated thread. I made two practice blocks and the brighter the fabric, the better it looked. (my background is cream sateen)

talent is so much more than the "innate" stuff, patty.
You have the knack AND the energy to go do it!
i used to have tons of both...really!
I don't know who this mouse in the mirror is, now!
(and you should see all the vitamins etc. they have me on ;-) )
oh well, I will creep along and and just devour every picture like a gift! ;)
