My new camera doesn't have a "floral" setting. I have it on the default - "ISO" whatever that is. It isn't too bad, unless it's at night, in the house with the ceiling fixture that had 1 burned out lightbulb! :? I just fiddle with the midtones to get it right. Colors are true, just a bit darker than they should be.

Wow Mousie I took the sunglasses off after the first two pics and number 3 sure is a winner. Beautiful fabrics from your *.......* (I can't even say it) trip.

Amazing what a difference can be achieved just by choosing a different setting on a camera.

I had a 'posh' SLR camera way back (well still have it somewhere) but it was pre digital, so I haven't used it for ages - I don't want tons of actual photographs any more. I am still trying to scan all my old ones so I can get rid of them!

Well done Mousie, lovely fabrics, and I'm sure you will enjoy using them. How is DD now?

Wow Mouse! Yuppers, it makes a difference alright! Love your FART acquisition..LOL!

Lesley, we have several really nice SLR cameras in the closet (pre-digital). I have a small fortune tied up in expensive lenses too. I keep saying that I'm going to buy the digital body to go with the lenses so that I can still use them..but its over $600 just for the body! Makes the cheap thing I throw in my purse look better all the time..LOL! But it took fabulous pics, much better than my little digital camera.

thanks, patty, and thanks for telling me about the setting. I was really sad about the dark pictures I was getting with my blocks.

Oh Mousie, fabulous fabs, love them.
I have recently bought the two florals (3 and 8 from the left in the last picture), aren't they gorgeous? Don't know what I am going to make with them yet, lol. Are you using them in your AOTH? They will be fabulous!

Well y'all, one of the LQS has 25% off sale today through Monday, and I got a gift card from my MIL for my birthday last month, what do you all say I should do today?
