Yes welcome to the group. I am ready to start #27, and then the last one to go. I am so excited to be almost caught up with the group.

Great job, Jolo!!! You'll be ahead of the schedule if you keep going at this pace. These blocks are so addictive that you just want to keep making them, non-stop.

I have discovered why I copy other's patterns & don't design my own. I have spent(wasted) more time trying to figure out all the details of the big border. Now, I am debating just how wide the border will be - 8" - 9" - 10"??? Once I get all the hearts basted, I can lay them out of the black fabric & play with spacing & widths, etc., I think. ALso, am I going to put more than just these jumbo hearts - some of the heart flowers, other hearts from the blocks??? Decisions, decisions, decisions!

Great block. I know what you mean about decisions. I loved the striped fabric with hearts that I found for my narrow borders. I tried doing reverse applique and after I said $#??% for about the 20th time, I went back to the drawing board. Long story short; I went to my LQS and bought a different fabric for the borders. That is why I have fabric galore. It happens with every quilt. I sewed on my borders today and I am going to post the pictures on the center unit.

Thanks for posting the photo of the whole quilt, I love it! I still haven't decided on my setting triangles or outer borders yet, but I still have 15 blocks to go so there is time

    Kathy, gorgeous block.

Losie, I am going to go look for your center now.

I finished blocks 24 and 25, yay! And I loved working on them, especially the no commas part, they went together quickly, so if you are in a funk, they are good blocks to get back into it. Unfortunately, my laptop just crashed, so I can't download the photos I took, but going shopping for a laptop tomorrow and will post then.

Losie...I'm going in a sec to look for your center..can't wait.

Jolo, you are flying to be caught up already, didn't you just now start???

Candi..bummer about the lappie...hate when that happens..

Kathy, I know what you mean, I seem to do that on EVERY quilt! I can't seem to stop myself from changing the patterns. Now I'm really anxious to see what you are creating for that border!

Luv2, Welcome to this wild & crazy group. Glad you are joining us. Tell us about what you are planning for your quilt - background fabric, block size (some of us are making them larger), method of applique, etc. WE also LOVE to see photos of everyone's work, so please show us what you are doing as you get things done. There is a thread for each block for posting the pictures. The easiest way to find the threads is to go to the bottom of any page & click on "Topic Lists." Affairs of the Heart is the 2nd topic listed. Click on it & you will find every thread that relates to our group. Scroll down to the thread for the block you are posting, or you want to look at or whatever reason. Again, welcfome!

P.S. We already have a "Luv" so you are going to be Luv2 if that's OK!

woah.... guess I've been off this site for a while!! no surprise. quilt show coming up this weekend and we just found out last Tuesday evening that the room we 'thought' we rented was not the room... no worries said the facilities manager 'it's about the same" ahum.... 142 x 89 is NOT the same as 142 x 120... no that is over 4,000 square ft difference - 25% reduction in floor spaced. So we had to go back to the drawing board and plan a new layout for 200 quilts   :(

I hope to have fun and relaxation next week!!
