I need to go back through each step.

Elle, thank you so much for putting all that together. You and Lesley are so extremely helpful.

Thank you for the pictures, Elle. I have some swap blocks to put together and I plan on practicing this method with them.

Good idea, you will get the hang of it really easy and the blocks go together nicely. You can if you wish put a sashing on your blocks and then use this method.

Lesley, I confess to having gone on a shopping trip and buying MORE batiks! Picked up some other goodies, too.

I'm in Albuquerque now, waiting to go get DH from his meeting. Also hit Harbor Freight - they had tons of blade packages - I only bought 8, left a load for others! I put one of those blades in my cutter back in November and am still using it. Will change it when we get home - left cutter at home - brought AOTH with me to do something - like maybe iron fome of the shapes I've cut out onto the batiks. I brought all of them with me!

    I wholeheartedly agree!!!!!

Did you buy the titanium blades? I just bought a couple because the LQS ladies said they last so much longer than regular blades.

Thanks for the tute Elle....it makes sense to me! Essentially...its just like we did before on Jane, but you hand sew the back together, right?

Sharon...love those fabs!! Your quilt will be vibrant and gorgeous on the black background, heck, it even looks good on the blue!
