Lisa, you did a beautiful job from start to finish and I am so happy for you that you won the "Best of Show". I am hoping to enter mine in the Arts & Crafts show at the Woman's Club in Nov. You are a real inspiration.

    Default Sorta finished!

    Hi ladies!

I don't know if anyone is still out there from the original group of AOTH, but here is mine finally AS MUCH FINISHED AS IT WILL EVER GET!
I got extremely frustrated and totally sick at heart (no pun intended) over the way mine was finishing and lost focus. I put it aside for a day when I felt I could bear to look at it again and when I did, I simply put a small plain border on it , and gave the dang thing away. I feel better just having it gone. Maybe some day I'll try another.

    Roxanne,
I love it. It looks like a collection of stained glass windows. I'm so glad you are sharing this with us.

Congratulations on finishing your quilt. I wish I had done what you did and I would have been finished ages ago. I am still working on the border (which I designed) of my quilt. I have made 4 other quilts while this one was in the works. I have 3 more quilts staring me in the face. I thought I would finish it over the summer but everything is going crazy. I have finished all of the applique but I have hours of embroidery staring me in the face.

    Thumbs up I Feel Good

I finally finished the embroidery work on the borders. Started May, 2011; Quilt top finished Oct, 2014. Now I have to figure out how I want to quilt it with all of the different colors and embroidery.
