I can't believe how much I am stretching my tastes in colors and fabrics in the past year.
My henry glass-olive crush came today.
I don't hate it, but it's not exactly what I expected , so when it's turn comes, it's going to be a bit of a challenge ;-)
I have some ideas, but I just don't have more than one idea, what kind of a leaf do you put on an olive background? (darker olive?)
anywhoo...back to Affairs of my heart, lol...
I thought...I thought I was going to spend the morning with Squirrelly, my Janome6600, but nope...the day was spent doing the bills.
With me and dh together, it takes a long time.
I'd rather wash a ton of dishes or put away laundry than do bills!!!
So, in closing...katie bar the door...don't let another thing get in my way tomorrow.
Why am I not sewing right now?
I only have so much energy, brain function etc. a day, and if I don't sew during that peak time...I am wasted.
Such is the life of an everyday mousewife. ;)

Mousie, you will have to experiment with the greens that you can use on the olive for your leaves. I ended up using more of a light..leaning towards lime green for a few...lighter greens worked well with my other fabs too....you'll know it when you see it...I just KNOW you have some in your stash.

DH & I worked on balancing spreadsheets today too...yuck!!1 I'm brain dead now..was slightly so before we started!!

LOL...miss multi-tasker herself, brain dead, but it does do a number on us as the years roll by. Just glad we still have that "window" of creativity when we get to play, Patti
thanks for the tip about the colors.
I just don't know how you know I have, um...a good range of colors...a little...hee hee hee...a few...
