Congraulations Mousie   Your square is beautiful. I had the same problem with my embroidery but I am going to wait until later and then I will probably redo the embroidery. I know this was a real health challenge for you and I admire the lovely work you did.

Mousie, I love your block-are you the first of the June group ? I jumped the gun a bit , couldnt wait to start as I had the book for ages so as soon as I got my background fabric I couldnt hold back and havent stoped since.

Oh Miss Mouse, I only have 3 words for your ocean blue background----FAB U LOUS!
And as a side note, I hope you like your new method of embroidery first, but honestly I don't see anything wrong with the first block. I know how easy it is for someone else to say that ( we all find a lot more fault with our own work) so if you find something better works for you , by all means do it! Just keep us posted so we can steal your ideas....LOL...

I guess it might seem that way bc i have been hanging around salivating for a while!
I've got the fever...well, I've had the AOTH fever, for a while, but now it's inched up a few degrees...can't wait to get home.
Got lots of fabric line up saying, "pick me, pick me!!!"
ok, children...you'll all get your turn...if not in this quilt...someday

Mousie, you only need to make ONE block of each number!
This one is gonna be beautiful! Why don't you wait until you have the block finished before deciding to make another? I loved how my first blocks came out UNTIL I put the bobbin work on them. That just ruined them for me, even when I had them together as the center unit.
Your work is flawless!!!

Way to go Mouse!!! I love the background color and your choices for the pieces too! I see what you are saying...I agree...that is partly why I chose the turned technique too...I think once you get going....you will love making these blocks!
