I am a little confused. Your first instructions said that the original quilt would be 3 inch squares while the queen size would be 5 inch squares. Does that not apply to the first cuttings?

Did my second paragraph not come through? Or did my butterfly brain forget to mention it? Yep, butterfly brain. Thanks for catching that. I'll modify that post. The squares for the queen size should be cut at 5 1/2 inches. You will need 42 squares of your light fabric #1, 28 squares of fabric #2 and 4 squares of fabric #4.

Happy to report I just finished cutting my 3-1/2 squares. Then I have to look for an empty container. Success...but it was not easy and I am sure you know why. Lol.

    stay safe and healthy.

They're all full of UFOs? That's why I didn't start this mystery earlier. I had to finish several UFOs to have a drawer to put it in! (Just before quarantine started, I gave my daughter the treadle machine I can't use any more, bought several multi-drawer plastic storage units to put in its place in the studio, and transferred all of the UFOs into them from their various boxes and bags. New rule is I can't start anything new if there is no drawer to put it in!)
