The blocks are beautiful. I started this BOM in Jan but seem to have lost my steam....I have enjoyed watching all of you create such beautiful blocks and have kept all of the patterns. One day I will take the time to finish the remaining months. Until then I will be watching... Happy quilting

Here is my August block. I have to admit I did not want to do it as it was not a flower pattern, but I trudged on and did it tonight. I may or may not use it in my final quilt. We shall see.

Since I have to scan this, I did not know how to make the pic smaller.

Did I mention I have never done a Y seam. I left the pucker on purpose!

WOW!! :D Your block is gorgeous!! :D What a wonderful job you have done putting it together. When I picked this block, I really thought it would be nice, being able to use the 8 1/2" sq. of our really pretty flower pieces of fabric. Thank you for sharing & playing with us on this one!!

I have finally finished my August block!! I picked butterflies on pansies with flowers in the braid too. I couldn't figure out how to miter that darn corner, so I made it straight on both sides. Easy way out, but it works for me!! Hope you like the pictures.
