It's the 21st!! The start of our Baltimore Album BOM! :)

We are starting with the April block, you can download the block directions and the placement outline at the link below. May's block is available as well, so you might want to download that one so that you have it.

    Block download:

There is one important rule for the BOM: HAVE FUN!! :)

I will try this but don't hold out too much hope.

Do you have Feb and March Blocks?

I wonder if I should needle turn or blanket stitch iron down.

I can't start yet - I've ordered fabric and it hasn't come yet! Rats!!! Have downloaded the patterns in readiness though - can't wait to get started!

I thnk this looks like fun, too! I haven't really done any applique and am wondering what technique would be best for this project. Also, I'm thinking about using scrap fabrics. What are your thoughts?

I'd love to do it needleturned... but I'm wondering if I have the time.

Fusible might be the better option. :-)

Got my fabrics for the appliqué yesterday, just waiting for the background fabric which I ordered from a different supplier, then I'll get cracking!

I hope that this reply doesnt appear twice as we had a power down just as I was posting!! I have wanted to do a Baltimore quilt for ages and this is perfect! Thank you for finding it!! I think that I am going to do it by hand and needle turn as that way I can carry it about with me and do a bit as and when! I like to pre-tack everything so that its safe to cart about. Im not in any great rush. I am very interested to see how everyone's goes.
On another note, to the very kind quiltetrs who gave me info about quilt stores in the Denver area, our plans are getting under way and we are having to stay in the area extra time just so that I can fit it all in. What a shame !!! Thanks again.
