I'm one of the ones where time is a problem. This month I was lucky that I was able to do both, Could be beacaus it was posted early. Two a month wouldn't be to bad still would have time to do my own projects. I like BOM because i'm doing blocks I would normaly pass over. I ythink e would be to many 1 on each end of the month isn't too bad

    Theres my 2 cents

I ment to say I don't think one on the 1st and the 15th would be too hard to handle

Yea I thought of all that. The thing about time is that no one HAS to do ANY of the blocks. We're all purely voluntary here. I would still have plenty to do besides these blocks. The books , mags' and patterns I've already collected could keep me going for about 5 more years as is

I have so far, and plan to do 2 of each block Minimum. I think there are enough of us that no one's block would be ignored totally. I just can't imagine anyone picking a block pattern that No One Likes!

We could try doing two at a time, then if, based on a general consensus no one is too overwhelmed we could up it again. Or Back it off  or  which ever I'm not overly attached to the outcome :XD:

    More thoughts...

Are we limiting ourselves to just piecing? We could set up three (or more) groups, maybe, by style of the projects.

    1. piecing
    2. paper piecing
    3. hand applique
    4. machine applique
    5. redwork
    etc!

We all can make decisions as to what we want to do and what we want to skip.
Personnaly I'm comfortable with my pattern piecing & paper piecing skills but need to really learn & work on hand applique skills.

My thing is if I see I have to try it. This is a BOM I can see maybe 2 because so many of us did sign up but don't think it should go past that.

Who ever limited it to piecing? I had something quite different in mind for my block (whenever it comes round).

I too planned something other than piecing because it was mentioned that we should "spread our wings and try new things" :)

yes, please do stick to your plan, Country Quilter.

i sure hope we all look forward to the fun and surprises as each person takes their turn. it would soon get boring if everybody did the same thing the same way every month.
