that's a good name for it! not sure i'd drink beer that color, though. then again ... i don't like beer at all so i probably don't know what's good and what isn't. LOL

Nice seams, nicer logs and there seems to be no wonkiness at all. My logs always end up wonky unless I paper piece them.
thanks. naturally, the wonky parts are SCREAMING at me from the web page. but i absolutely refuse to fix it/them. i shall call it "rustic" and look at anybody who says they notice it as though they are total hicks with no artistic knowledge or class.

    just call me Patrice Picasso.

Ceannastahr, I love what your extension table does to the log cabin block. When I looked at the photo, I thought at first you'd done a big border around it! You did a great job. And Patrice, I love your rustic logs. They're waaaaay cool, you use great color combinations!

now, lookie h'yar, Mary. that's just toooooo darned clever by far. (because it makes me wanna drop everything and make one, too. LOL)

that block would also make a faaaabuloso alternating block to frame all the Blocks-of-the-Twice-a-Month so a person could have a nice sized quilt in half the time.

    :P

Thanks, Patrice, but I dont know if I would want to make so many of these blocks. No matter how hard I try to measure and cut right, I always seem to come up with pieces that do not match. I had to push and pull and stretch this thing into submission.lol

But on the other hand it would be a good learning tool. One thing I did not do, because I am basically lazy is pin, and that is probably why I had so much trouble.
