I didn't even notice this was only going to be 8". But here it is, now I have 2 BOM done. I am only getting started and I am still working on the Red Hat Lap. Got stuck on it and have had to work thru a problem with the sashing, I think I have it solved now.

I added enough green border to bring it up to 12" finished size.

My Cabbage Rose, not perfect by any means but done!

    go sit in the bowl

Now was that nice? Hmm? Remember, I shared my star with you. You can clearly tell from that that Y-seams are not to be trusted! Yucky, nasty little Y-seams. Stay far, far away from them C. Quilter! They are not safe!! They drive you mad :!:

CQ don't listen to her! She started me on my road to madness!
I didn't catch this conversation earlier. It's probably a bit late in the day but if anyone's interested I redrew the cabbage rose so there were no Y-Seams cause I hates them too  . Block was a tiny bit different, but not much. Just not sure how to share it. Is done in EQ5 so maybe I could E-mail it to you Patrice and you could work your usual magic :P . Whatcha think :?:

Deb, you've done a beautiful job on the cabbage rose, especially with Y-seams. Nice one

    Abra Cadabra!!! Alakazam!!! Say Presto!!!

the foundations are too big to print the whole thing on one piece of paper. here are two different approaches for 8 and 12 in blocks.

DON'T FORGET TO TURN OFF PAGE SCALING BEFORE PRINTING IN ACROBAT READER. ALSO REMEMBER TO SELECT "PRINT AS IMAGE" UNDER THE "ADVANCED" OPTION.

I hope with each pp I do that I improve. I like it but just don't do as nicely as I would like. So this is my cabbage rose. I didn't realize right away it was only an 8in version. Wish it had been 12 instead. Then again that might not look as good I don't know.

    Cropped cabbage rose, borders added.
