OK, Kathy...give me another pearl (of knowledge)...what the heck is "ROLFMBO?" :P Man, I really need to get into the
21 century and learn all the acryonyms. What did I embellish? I assume the Feathers you speak of is me...not too many of us
    "Feathers" out there? :P LOL
    Have a great day!

Feathers you said " Ok, can't stand it! Have to try this pattern even if all those points scare the snot out of me"

and Patrice said "use the snot to embellish the block. you could start a whole new fad for fearful folks. and quilting mommies everywhere will have a reason to not dread the cold & flue season quite so much. "

as far as ROLFMBO I not sure of all of it either I'm just getting use to the acryonyms myself

Trust me, I'll find something else for quilt"embellishing."

Oh! ya, after I sent you the request for info again on opening the templates at the McCalls site, Patrice, I went to the BOM list and was able to get it off there. Have 1 block 1/4 finished...there is hope.

nuthin' starts a day off right like trying to match 8 sets of 3 points in a stinkin' Y-seam

i'm happy, though. didn't have to feed the trash can this time with 32 "first attempts". :P

Dang...you ARE good, Patrice..your block looks great. I made one yesterday and the garbage can is still belching dull points and seams that don't meet. I'm thinking I'll try again but not anyti me too soon!

    ask yourself this question:

have you ever seen a rose with pointy petals?

if your colors are pretty, the block will be pretty - with or without those precious points
