I think when the proverbial "heck" freezes over will the next one of those come off of the line. I do like the method though. I seem to be swamped with BOM's with this and the quilt guild and a new hobby and craft club we are starting. Hopefully we will have a bunch of new quilters coming out of Lookout in the next few months.

This is Mary's (Jessiesmom) Cabbage Rose. it's too pretty to let it disappear into cyberspace.

    Feathers,
I was at a guild meeting where the speaker said don't look for the points to match on her quilts because they don't, and if thats what you're looking for you're missing a lot. Thats kinda stuck with me.
    Happy quilting, Peggy

I like that sentiment Peggy. There is a lot more to a quilt or a block than just points. :)

Thanks, Peggy...I appreciate your encouragement and sharing the thoughts of a guild sister. I do believe she has a "point!" Pardon the pun. I do try to be consistent in my 1/4 inch seam allowance and am a fanatic about measuring and cutting but I still end up with some blunt points here and there. I've learned to live with them and LOVE each and every little one of them. My quilt teacher says "if you CAN see the mistake on a quilt while galloping by the quilt on a fast moving horse then STOP! and fix it. If you have to LOOK for it then it's not a mistake and it'll be fine." This works great until you enter the piece in the State Fair! Those judges don't know that only GOD is perfect...the rest of us make blunt points here and there.
