I want to do the star also, but with working full-time and carrying 12 hrs of class, I don't know if I can do it or not. I do want to try.

I hear ya! Work full time and do a sewing/repair business, to pay for the quilting habit! Lucky to have a 5 min walk to work so I set up a lot on the lunch hour so I can spend an hour after work to sew. I am hoping this works for me but if it dosn't theres 'no worries' about letting one of them go. Got to remember to play and have fun! Thats why we quilt!!

Mim, This is the most interesting house quilt I have ever seen. I love it. Is there a pattern that can be bought for it?

MisDixie, I'm not sure if I will go all stash or part stash and buy some fabric. Probably a mixture of the two. I know I have some sky material I'm going to use.

Jumped out of bed this morning, ran to the computer, found the block and had an anxiety attack. Paper pieceing, oh no....(groan and cuss). Made the coffee, pottied the girls and said, I can do this! Then found 27 jobs to stall starting "The Block". Long story short, went to Walmart, found some great material for 4.97 a yard. Saw the same material I had bought at Joanns yesterday for 6.99 a yard at Walmart for 4.97. Same designer, etc. I guess that is why Joanns does the 40% coupons.. Anyhoo, it was great fun to fabric shop, haven't done that in many years. So, about the block, I am making a practice block tomorrow first thing in the morning off of the Quilters Cache site. I can do this, I can do this. Thanks for inspiring growth, SulaBug...
