I've been working last evening and most of today on my church - using plaid homespuns...have decided to "jump ship" and make the star BOM instead .... too difficult for me to try to get the plaids looking right - not striving for perfect, but just didn't look right no matter how much I played with it. I have a lot of homespuns that I want to use up (I'm on a fabric diet)- so thought I'd have better luck with stars where plaids do not necessarily have to line up. I plan to continue to lurk - everyone is doing a great job - that house quilt will just have to wait for now!

It worked! I finally found where my block posted. I think I posted in the wrong place though. So many different places to look! Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. Can't wait for the next one.

    How about quilt designs?

I started working on one tonight, just getting some ideas down. I think I am going to re-do the church block in the fabrics that I was originally thinking of using, Moda's Luna Notte.

Pam......I really like your idea for a design!! Thank you ever so much for sharing with all of us. I am sure your picture will have minds racing with thought's of what could be done with their quit block's, when getting ready to put them together.

Wow, Pam, I am so impressed. You are so much further along in your quilting hobby than I am. Beautiful! How did you learn how to plan quilts? How long have you been quilting? I am between beginner and intermediate.

I've been quilting for about 20 years, off and on. Just learned to plan by doing it. I've had the Electric Quilt software since it was EQ4, now it's EQ7, but I didn't do a lot with it until EQ6.
