    who? me?

i'm flattered by the compliment, but am laughing remembering the amount of time i spent going through my scraps to come up with that combination. took longer to do that than it did to cut and piece the block. LOL

    color selection is a right-brain skill. i'm ... like ... 90% left-brain.

I know it's tempting, Tim ... and Kathy. but DON'T say it.

it's worth looking at twice :-)

i love the way you switched the colors in the triangles. looks like a spinning pinwheel and ribbons. i'd never have "seen" that possibility.

    i bow in awe

amazing how each of us "sees"so differently. I really like the colors and subtle changes you made. I am still not ready to face the challenge of this block, too many aspecs for just red, white and blue.

I thank you in humble appreciation, because honestly, I didn't see the ribbons until you pointed them out.

I really do appreciate your comments. I just wish there were a way to have the fabrics display on-screen in their true colors (they are a lot more vivid in real life). Maybe this is due to me rushing through the photography  ? Anyway, thanks y'all!!

I think it looks great. I know what you mean about the colors I had a mint green in one and the pic made it look like dingy white

different shades and values of those 3 colors perhaps?
throw in a little yellow and/or orange? those two colors look fabuloso in rwb blocks.
