That loud noise and mushroom cloud you experenced eairly this am was me.. A long time ago I had started a red, white and blue quilt for a son, Ihe was not crasy about it and I lost intrest , but I had purchsed all the frabics, several yards of bandana prints some chambry and a white . fast forward to last summer when I cleaned the sewing room and reorgnaised it when my son moved. Well there were fabrics I was not crasy about or just was stuff I knew I would never use.So I cleaned them and devided them amoung several sew for causes groups I knew of. Guess what must have gone somewhere. The obovus lesion in this for nubies is if you have more than one block made of a group of farbics NEVER BREAK UP THE SET, YOU WILL REGRET IT I can promice. now of course I may need to go fabric shopping!!!LOL QN/Daphne

What a great quilt. :!: I have been experimenting, trying to get a good block out of my fabrics, and I may have enough to make a quilt when I am done, but it won't be near that pretty. I did go out and buy some more fabrics to add to them, so I may do better. At least, it was a good excuse to buy more fabric.

Your first quilt is lovely. I'm enjoying looking at the way you've used the different values. They sure do change to look of that block. I love it!

Welcome to the world of quilting! You have arrived!!! :D

Here are both of the blocks for April (I couldn't pick just one!) along with my March block and the panel I will be cutting up to use along with the blocks in my quilt. I REALLY enjoyed the Frolic block. It was quick, easy and fun.

I absolutely love your quilt to be. I've 'petted' that piece of kitty fabric several times but have resisted it so far. Great work! Great fabric choices. Keep us posted! :D
