Well I've had a go at one of them! I apologise in advance if the centre square in this block says anything rude! I havent got a clue what it means...lol!
It looks just about as straight as a dogs hind leg ...but hey!..I'm only a beginner!

Nice job Karen! Love the Japanese character! I wonder what it does mean? Here's mine. Looks like great minds think alike, we picked the same. It looked easiest to me! :D

Both the blocks look great!! Karenmay, I've been looking to see if I could find a translation for your Kanji...no luck so far...but here's the site from the page where I left off.

Loretta there a some really cool dragons on this page too.

Chele, I just love your bold fabric choices they always turn out sooo cool!!

Here's the Kanji site...they're technically for tattoos, but I think they would be easy enough to adapt for embroidery.

    Karen and Chele,
You're making the rest of us look lazy! Love your blocks.
Karen, You gave me my laugh of the day. "Straight as a dogs hind leg" indeed. Your block is wonderful! Keep those great blocks coming!
Chele, your colors continue to amaze me. You've got a great quilt-to-be going there!
Great work ladies! Now, I suppose I'm going to have to go start my next BOM quilt. There's bound to be some time somewhere!

Okay, now you're making feel really bad! I have no shopping to do to speak of! I've done all the decorating I intend to do and believe me it's not much! Cards have been mailed. Baking is not going to be done until next week-end. I've made one batch of rum balls and a couple of peanut brittle. That's it. Hmm What AM I doing with all of my time? Curiouser and curiouser as Alice would say!
