didn't realize the notation went along with the pic....uh oh! that is my personal opinion....doesn't mean I won't use them...I am a recovering perfectionist...bear with me.

Here is my tulip. I haven't finished the block because I am not sure what I am going to do with it yet. I needle turned it witht he outline traced on the piece, with the little bitty stitches like Patrice dared me. She did better than I, but I was a lot slower. I really enjoyed making this block. This may be my favorite method. I truly love hand sewing. Thanks for the challenge. No machine applique for me!! :? I guess the pic would help, huh?

Ok....this makes two down and four to go!! Then I will be caught up! This is my second attempt at needle turn applique... I'm enjoying it....it isn't as hard as I thought it would be. I can see an appliqued quilt in my future now... something I never would have considered before.... It also didn't take as long as I thought it would...I started this at 7:00 this morning and finished before noon! Thought it would take me all day if not two days! LOL

Patsy, that's a very Civilized "Primitive Tulip". And pretty too!
